Fenugreek / Methi
Methi is the Indian name for fenugreek. This popular plant is used as a vegetable by means of its leaves which very much resemble spinach leaves but with a much more pungent and slightly bitter taste. Also the seeds are used to spice dishes and forms a vital ingredient of panch puran. Methi is a favourite of many people who seek a unique and different taste in their dishes.
