An incredibly disappointing experience with this take-away. I wish that I had read the recent reviews on here first. The food was over 90 minutes late, and I can’t really review the food itself as it was cold when it arrived. Whilst waiting I had phoned at least 5 times and was told, on more than one occasion, that they had been busy and that the delivery driver was 5 or 10 minutes away. I eventually spoke to the manager, who was the rudest proprietor of a food outlet that I had ever encountered. He was immediately aggressive on the phone and blamed me for using curriesonline, and explained that I should have called him direct with the order and this would have given me more accurate timings. Another suggestion he gave me was for me to have chosen “collection” rather than “delivery” if time was an issue for me. The fact that I had ordered from them before, many times and without problems, seemed completely irrelevant to him and he did absolutely nothing at all to recompense for a very late and cold meal. Anyone ordering a curry in Norwich should avoid the Royal Bengal.

The naan bread was cold, the chicken was rubbery in both of the curries we ordered and the tubs were only half full. We had the butterflied, deep fried king prawn which was tasteless, dry and very over cooked. Overall a disappointing meal .
